Tips

  • Shampoo bars don't require preservatives and they can go rancid over time. It is recommended that you use your Shampoo Bars within six months of purchasing.

  • Transition Period: There is a transition when you switch from the chemicals in traditional shampoos to a natural shampoo bar. When you first begin, your hair or scalp may become oily or dry or even may have increased tangles, or frizz and the hair may feel waxy. This is your hair reaction because of the change. It will go away!  Please do not shampoo everyday and allow the oils to penetrate. This transitional period can last for just a week and up to a few weeks. These period will last depending on how damaged your hair is and on how frequently you used products with SLS/SLES.

  • To use a shampoo bar you could rub wet shampoo bar directly onto hair from scalp to ends in a combing motion or rub wet shampoo bar between hands. Cover each section of your hair massaging the scalp and hair, adding more water as needed until you form a good lather.  Be sure that you really get a good lather and rinse thoroughly.  Dry and style your hair as normal and then enjoy how shiny and clean it looks.
